Applied First Aid provides quality first aid training directly relevant to your place of work or sport.
Teaching of all aspects of first aid, is not taught in isolation but related to the situations where you might be called on to use the skills. Every one who does a First Aid Course with us is invited to our annual FREE 2 hour refresher first aid course to keep your skills up to date.
First Aid Courses taught are:
- ITC Outdoor First Aid Course (2 days / 16 hrs)
- Forest School First Aid Course (2 days /16 hrs)
- Emergency First Aid at Work 1 day (6 hrs)
- Gap Year or Travel First Aid (6 hrs or 8 hrs)
- Basic Expedition First Aid 1 day (8 hrs)
All our trainers have had years of experience in working with people both indoors and outdoors and have a passion for various outdoor activities. Director Joy Martin is a qualified teacher who has been involved with first aid for the last 30 years in a variety of situations. She has worked in school, on the sports field, in outdoor education as well as in offices and so has a wide breath of knowledge of the needs of first aiders.
Applied First aid is committed to all their courses being appropriate to the needs and situation of those involved and therefore works with groups to develop appropriate professional high quality training.
Applied First Aid is accredited to run first aid courses through ITC.
